In 2022, some camps are organising camp experiences for you to participate in. We are hopeful that they will be able to go ahead. Camps will follow the local conditions closely, and may have to cancel activities if the local COVID-19 situation forces them to do so. If you have already signed up for a camp-activity you will be informed when this happens. We will update the website also, when such decisions are taken. Please check your own local authority travel advisory to see if you can travel to or return from the camp after the activity. At all times, when at camps, please observe it’s COVID-19 policy (such as wearing masks, social distancing, washing hands, etc).

3 ways that your company can be part of the Mighty Movement to Regreen our Planet

If your company shares our passion for earth restoration and would like to do something extraordinary by contributing towards biologically diverse life-giving ecosystems and a healthy future for our planet, you can join with us in a business partnership in a number of ways.

1. Become a Corporate Sponsor

As a corporate sponsor you could make a one-off donation or join as a corporate supporter with a monthly donation. You donation goes towards:

a) Support and resources for the ‘on-the-ground’ restoration work at our ERC Camps

b) Education and communications work of the global foundation that communicates impact stories, inspires and teaches how to restore your local ecosystem

c) Scaling up ERC by introducing a knowledge exchange platform for restorers to share and access data and techniques on the best regenerative practices (ecological and business), a digital platform that matches campers to camps; creating a camp infrastructure fund including the creation of tree nurseries for camps to plant more trees at lower cost

2. A day - or several! - of regeneration at a Camp

Companies tell us that their employees are looking for meaningful ways to take action against climate change, to do something physical with their hands and see the results. Joining an Ecosystem Restoration Camp is a great way to give back to the planet and make a positive impact in your local region or while travelling abroad.

Our Camp Experiences provide the opportunity to touch, taste and feel our inextricable dependence on our planet and shows how each and every one of us is part of the solution for a healthy and wealthy future. We can organise a day of regeneration at your local Camp for team bonding, employee wellbeing and corporate social responsibility.

Projects at Camp can include:

  • Building
  • Removing invasive species
  • Planting seedlings
  • Installing water butts
  • Earthworks
  • Building habitats
  • Repairing broken infrastructure
  • Making compost
  • Collecting seeds

For a longer experience – join a Camp Experience. A camp experience is usually 1-2 weeks of activities that include physical work, theoretical learning, and cultural experiences. At a Camp Experience, you can join the workshops they have on offer which are specifically focused on the techniques that are implemented there. You will get the chance to learn and practice your new skills. For example, you can learn how to produce indigenous organisms for soil building at our camp in Mexico, agroforestry practices unique to the altiplano region of Spain or techniques to regreen the desert in Egypt. There are chances to learn theoretically as well as learning by doing, and join visits to local spots of ecological/cultural and historical significance with the chance to fully experience elements of the culture that you are immersed in.

3. Come to a Camp for your Corporate Retreat

Host a Corporate Retreat in nature for a breath of fresh air, and a bio-inspired training and development retreat. We invite you to design and tailor a corporate retreat with us to suit your organisational context.
